Hi, I'm a new mesher and although not in Philly this is the closest forum (geographically speaking) to where I will be working, which is the Lehigh Valley (Allentown/Bethlehem/Easton).   As luck would have it, my QTH is pretty much line-of-sight to most of this area - I'm on a large hill to the north with about 180 degree vantage point to the entire valley.  So I'm pretty stoked about putting up a node and seeing if I can get it running and available.

Anybody interested in extending north please chime in.

You, sir, are my new best friend! I live in Washington NJ and I work 10 minutes East of your QTH near Crayola. I've played with mesh on WRT54 routers and I just ordered some used nanostations from ebay because I'm trying to get something up on our repeater tower. We definitely need to talk. I'm usually listening on the repeater during drive time (say 7:30-8am and 5-6pm) if you want give me a call:

110.9 Hz (2Z) CTCSS

FB Tom, I will plug in that repeater and call tonight on my drive home. I should be on the road sometime between 5 and 6. I have the reverse trip - I work in Hackettstown and commute home to Nazareth, and I have Montana Mountain between me and Washington. Because of that, I don't think I've ever heard anything from the 6.82 repeater. We can exchange emails if you wish until we get plugged in enough to share our experience here on the forums. You can email me any time. Parenthetically, my QTH is more like one mile from Crayola. :) And we can probably talk either simplex or on thw W3OK repeater - I work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays. ;) 73, Rich Hurd / WC3T Latitude: 40.761621 Longitude: -75.288988 Grid: FN20is 40°45.68' N 75°17.33' W

Ok! The W2SJT 2M repeater is actually on top of Montana mountain - works very well between work and home, I don't know about between home and Hackettstown. I'll monitor W3OK as well. Dropped you an email - you may want to edit yours out before spammers harvest it.
