Hello and thank you the first thing I want to do it just be able to send tent messages back and forth or a file....Do I need to download a software program to do this? Thank you KD4YSH

The IRC SERVER program really looks deep is there a simple way to start out just sending and receiving text messages or file transfers or like emails?

The IRC SERVER looks pretty deep is there a simple way to set up a quick messiging program or message transfer to get started, I quess there is nothing built in the firmware I used to text or communicate, thanks again.

Hello Russ, my friend in L.A. just sent me live pics of that big fire one was from the chopper wow big fire. Russ I can connect now all nodes but trying to set an easy program to send text and easy info back and forth not interested right now on VOIP or video any suggestions? Thank you again Joe kd4ysh

Russ, I wanted to thank you again for your help I finally have nodes up and I can see them on the screen, my next step is what platform to use for communication. I wish they had more videos on the platforms and uses only videos on how to set up nodes. What would you suggest for a real simple tent message from one point to another? I will get into VOIP and LIVE VIDEO at a later time just want to send and receive messages. As always thank you for your time. Thank You kd4ysh
